How to Retrieve a Crash Log from Your RemoteUpdated 3 days ago

Some customers have experienced a rare issue where the remote freezes on startup and requires a magnet reset. Because it's uncommon, it's been difficult to identify the root cause.

To help us investigate, we’ve added a crash log feature to the remote. You can access the log using the steps below:

How to retrieve the crash log:

  1. Turn the remote on.

  2. On the remote, go to:
Settings > Firmware Update > Enable Remote Update

  3. On your computer, connect to the Wi-Fi network called zerotow-remote.

  4. Once connected, open a browser and go to:
    http://192.168.4.1/backtrace

  5. Copy the text you see on that page and start an email to [email protected]

  6. Next go to

  7. http://192.168.4.1/coredump/status

  8. Copy this text to the email too.

  9. Next go to:

  10. http://192.168.4.1/coredump

  11. This will download a small file called "coredump.elf"

  12. Attach this file to the email and send the email to: [email protected]

Thanks for helping us get to the bottom of this.
