Firmware 2.0 Installation Issue
We have identified an issue affecting some remotes during the installation of firmware version 2.0. In certain cases, the remote rolls back to version 1.82 on startup.
This is the first time we are actively using the internal SD card in the remote. Some older units may have incorrectly formatted or corrupted SD cards, which can cause a crash during startup and trigger the rollback.
Resolution
We have prepared a new build that disables SD card logging. This version installs significantly more reliably on affected units.
We are continuing to investigate the root cause and will implement improved error handling in future firmware releases to prevent this from occurring.
