Our PhilosophyUpdated 5 hours ago

Every Boogie is built by Glenn and Mark in our garages at home.

We have no ambition to flood the market or become the giant water sports brand. In fact, we think that would be bad for both the product and the places we all enjoy riding. More Boogies in the water would eventually mean more crowded beaches, more attention from regulators, and a worse experience for everyone.

Instead, we're happy with slow, sustainable growth. This gives us the time to listen to customers, improve with every generation, and build each Boogie to the standard we'd want ourselves.

Pricing

Everyone pays the same price.

There are no sales, discount codes, or "limited-time" offers. We don't offer special deals to influencers, friends, family, or ambassadors. Every customer is treated exactly the same.

By selling directly and choosing not to advertise, we operate on some of the lowest margins in the foil assist industry. That means more of what you pay goes into the product itself—not into marketing, sponsorships, or sales campaigns.

When you buy a Boogie, you can be confident you're paying a fair price and receiving the best value, regardless of who you are or when you buy.

Advertising

We don't advertise.

Advertising doesn't make the product any better, so we'd rather spend that time, money and effort improving the Boogie itself.

That means:

  • No Instagram or Facebook ads.

  • No boosted social media posts.

  • No paid podcast appearances.

  • No paid or discounted reviews.

  • No free products in exchange for positive coverage.

Many product reviews and podcasts are sponsored with free equipment or payments. We prefer to keep things as independent as possible so that any recommendations come from genuine customer experiences.  Join the Boogie Owners facebook group and ask for feedback from existing owners.

Ambassadors & Team Riders

Every Boogie owner is an ambassador.

We don't have sponsored riders or paid ambassadors. Those programs are ultimately funded by every customer through higher product prices, yet they don't improve the product itself.

We'd rather invest those resources into engineering, reliability and customer support.

Wholesale & Dealers

We sell directly to our customers.

Because there are no dealer margins, every customer effectively pays the wholesale price.

If we sold through traditional retailers, prices would typically need to increase by 30–40% to cover distribution and retail markups.

With our relatively low production volume and a consistent backlog of orders, we don't see any advantage in adding dealers. Selling directly also means we can speak with every customer ourselves, receive feedback firsthand, and continuously improve the product.
